L. Ron Hubbard's "Fundamentals of Thought" is a very good book on how the human mind works. Although this book is written in layman's terms, the concepts require an open mind to fully comprehend. If you can read and fully understand this book, it will change your life.

Scientology is the religion that naturally arose in the early 1950s, when author L. Ron Hubbard proved the existence of a human soul (or "Thetan") by a series of mathematical calculations that proved that the biological brain (the organ) could not possibly be the repository of all of a human being's memories and experiences. Instead, Mr. Hubbard postulated that the brain is not the mind, but the brain is a "switchboard" between the soul (Thetan) and the body. There are millions of hours of empirical research behind these findings, which the field of psychology has actively suppressed.

The late L. Ron Hubbard was a prolific author - he started off writing Science Fiction, and this helped to fund his travels and research into the human mind.
